Welcome to WorkSage. These Terms of Service govern your use of our productivity and AI assistant platform. By using WorkSage, you agree to these terms.
1. Acceptance of Terms
By accessing or using WorkSage ("Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you do not agree to these Terms, you may not use the Service. These Terms apply to all users, including visitors, registered users, and paying subscribers.
2. Description of Service
WorkSage is a productivity platform that helps you manage your professional life by connecting with your existing tools. Our Service includes calendar management, scheduling assistance, and calendar event creation; task detection, creation, and management; meeting transcription and summarization; document and email drafting; AI-powered chat assistance; and integration with third-party services including Google Workspace and Slack.
3. Account Registration
To use WorkSage, you must create an account using Google OAuth. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activities that occur under your account. You must provide accurate and complete information during registration. You agree to notify us immediately of any unauthorized use of your account.
4. Service Tiers and Payment
WorkSage offers multiple service tiers: Free, Basic, and Pro. Each tier provides different features and usage limits as described on our pricing page. Paid subscriptions are billed through Stripe. You authorize us to charge your payment method for all fees associated with your selected tier. Subscription fees are non-refundable except as required by law. We may change pricing with 30 days notice to existing subscribers.
5. Third-Party Integrations
WorkSage integrates with third-party services including Google Calendar, Gmail, Google Drive, Slack, and Telegram. By connecting these services, you authorize WorkSage to access and process data from these platforms as necessary to provide the Service.
For Slack, installing WorkSage grants it read access to public channel messages and any private channels you explicitly invite WorkSage to. WorkSage processes messages in real-time for context extraction and does not store raw message content. You are responsible for ensuring you have appropriate authority to install WorkSage on a Slack workspace.
You acknowledge that your use of third-party services is also governed by their respective terms of service. We are not responsible for the availability, accuracy, or practices of third-party services.
6. AI Features and Limitations
WorkSage uses third-party large language model (LLM) providers to power features such as task detection, meeting summaries, and chat assistance. Relevant context is sent to LLM providers at inference time to generate responses. LLM providers do not retain your data for training, fine-tuning, or any form of persistent model improvement.
AI-generated content is provided for informational purposes and may not always be accurate. You are responsible for reviewing and verifying AI-generated outputs before relying on them. We do not guarantee the accuracy, completeness, or reliability of AI features.
7. Acceptable Use
You agree not to use WorkSage to:
- Violate any applicable laws or regulations.
- Infringe on intellectual property rights of others.
- Transmit malicious code or interfere with the Service.
- Attempt to gain unauthorized access to other accounts or systems.
- Use the Service for any illegal, harmful, or fraudulent purpose.
- Resell or redistribute the Service without authorization.
8. Your Content and Data
You retain ownership of all content you provide through the Service ("Your Content"). By using WorkSage, you grant us a limited license to process Your Content solely to provide and improve the Service. This includes processing content from connected services (email, calendar, messaging) through our context extraction pipeline as described in our Privacy Policy.
You are responsible for ensuring you have the right to share any content you provide. For meeting recording and transcription features, you are responsible for obtaining appropriate consent from all meeting participants.
You may export or delete Your Content at any time through your account settings.
9. Data Processing and Retention
WorkSage processes data from connected services to extract structured context (entities, commitments, decisions, topics). For most connected services, raw content is discarded after extraction and only structured context fragments and reference pointers are retained. Full details of data handling by source are described in our Privacy Policy.
On account deletion, all associated data is permanently removed within 30 days, including your context store, all retained data, index records, reference pointers, and any cached data. No data survives account deletion. Users may export their data before deletion.
10. Intellectual Property
WorkSage and its original content, features, and functionality are owned by WorkSage and are protected by copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws. Our name, logo, and product names are trademarks of WorkSage. You may not use our trademarks without prior written consent.
11. Privacy
Your privacy is important to us. Our collection and use of personal information is governed by our Privacy Policy, which is incorporated into these Terms by reference.
